Hi, my brother, sister and I are starting this fundraiser on behalf of my amazing parents, who are going through the toughest time of their lives.

Recently, my father suffered a serious stroke that required emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. Since then, he’s been in recovery — facing the long, difficult road of speech therapy, physical therapy, and learning how to regain strength and movement on the left side of his body. The stroke has changed everything for our family. After years of working hard to provide, he now has to retire due to the lasting effects of his condition.

My mom has her own health struggles and is unable to work. Despite this, she’s the rock of our family, taking care of my father, his brother (who has special needs), and my younger brother (who also has special needs). They are both incredibly loving and selfless people who have always put others first — but now, they’re in need of help themselves.

The medical bills, therapy costs, and everyday expenses are piling up. With no income and so many people to care for, they are overwhelmed and at risk of falling behind on the basics: utilities, food, transportation, and medication. We’re doing everything we can as a family, but we need help from our community to bridge this gap and provide a sense of relief and stability for them.
