As a crazy animal lover, I created the Humane Society of NJ, a nonprofit organization, dedicated to serving animals in need of food, shelter and medical services through donations and fundraising.

I recently rescued two beautiful bonded Chiweenies, Sadie (8yo) and Winnie (7yo). Sadie is blind in one eye and has had mammary tumors removed after having at least one litter. Winnie is somehow happy go lucky but with a touch of unsure scaredy cat.

They were rescued from a pet hoarding situation where more than 50 other dogs were neglected and living in absolute squalor.

After all the neglect and trauma, I still see their spirit shining strong. I will continue to nurture them until they understand that not all humans are bad.

Any donation helps and goes directly towards caring for these two, as well as the numerous animals out there in need!
