Support the Human Potential to Transform Conflict

Tax deductible

The ISCT is asking your help for short-term funding as we step into a new era.  When Joe Folger and Baruch Bush first articulated the transformative framework in 1994, it rocked the world of mediation. The world has been feeling the reverberations ever since.  Thanks to them, we are now a global community of practitioners, bringing transformative principles and practices to our work with individuals, groups, and communities so that they can have civil and constructive conversations about the things that really matter to them.

More recently, our founders have reduced their activity  and thus we find ourselves entering into a new phase, seeking to continue their legacy of "fulfilling the promise" and making the work of the Institute accessible and responsive.

There has never been a more important time to bring transformation to the polarizing and demeaning discourse we hear everywhere today. And now, more than ever, we see that people are hungry for what it is we have to offer.  Whether through Transformative mediation, dialogue, coaching or self-managed conflict, we help people to “live with in a world with differences without losing our basic humanity.”

The Institute for the Study of Conflict transformation provides a variety of support to transformative practitioners, including financial support of their initiatives and projects around the world - initiatives like the community dialogue projects, the development of a French translation of the “Sourcebook” and a French-speaking practitioner group, and the development curriculum  on how individuals can respond to conflict using transformative principles.

This is why we are asking for your help in meeting the challenges of our times through your financial support of the Institute. Your donation will help us to share the model with others and to support our global community of transformative practitioners in their activities.

Our goal in the coming year is to raise $40,000 by March 17, 2019 to provide the financial stability we need in the coming year as we develop new strategies to generate income and carry forward Joe & Baruch’s legacy.
