A few months ago Lauren started experiencing terrible back pain. She tried chiropractors, doctors, physical therapy and had no relief. On September 16th her father brought her to the ER because the pain became unbearable. It felt like a kidney stone or being in labor. They did a ct scan which showed a grapefruit size tumor. They did surgery the following Monday, removing 98-99% of it (She currently has 22 staples in her abdomen,OuCh!!). September 29th she received the phone call with the results from her pathology report. She has been diagnosed with Pleomorphic Liposarcoma (cancer of the fat cells). She wants everyone to know so she can have the most people praying for her and her family. And if anyone knows anything about this rare diagnosis please let her know. She is very scared and very sad but she going to get through this.
