On Christmas Eve 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when we unexpectedly lost our mother, Joan Horner. She leaves behind her husband and two children who are now trying to navigate life without her love, guidance, and support.

As we grieve, we are also facing overwhelming practical challenges. Our father is currently battling stage 4 lung cancer, and the medical bills continue to grow. At the same time, we are struggling to afford funeral and end-of-life expenses for our mother.

At just 24 years old, Anna is the only person in our household able to work. She has unexpectedly become the sole provider, responsible for supporting her 16-year-old brother and our seriously ill father, and is carrying this responsibility on a limited single income.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward funeral costs, medical expenses, and basic living needs so our family can focus on healing and supporting one another.
