The family has already been displaced from their home for months while critical ADA modifications are being made: a process that has faced repeated delays due to circumstances entirely outside of their control. In the midst of this ongoing disruption, they are now faced with the unimaginable weight of this profound loss as well.

Throughout this time, they have continued to provide dedicated care for their daughter, who has significant disabilities and high support needs, all while living away from home with no clear end date in sight. The costs associated with their extended displacement, combined with funeral expenses, medical needs, and the sudden loss of income, have created a devastating financial burden during an already heartbreaking time.
