Support the Hopson Family After Devastating Fire
Donation protected
The Hopson 2 Family suffered a devastating fire that destroyed their home on December 19, 2024 and is a total loss. Our home was filled with 50+ years of memories and life.
Charlie and Adeline Hopson built their home in the 1970s and have built on additions as their family grew. They have 5 children (Davida, Francine, Pete, Rebecca, and *Emma), 21 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. All 21 of the grandchildren have visited and made their mark on the family pole over the years.
The "family" pole was one of the treasures in the home. Every person who visited Charlie and Adeline's made their mark of how tall they were including the date visited. There was not an empty space anywhere to be found and even started a new visiting pole across the room.
Charlie and Adeline had many pictures, old and new throughout the home of family and friends. Pictures lined the back of the stairs, front door shelf, refrigerator photo magnets, photos covered all the walls in the home.
Thank you so much for your donation big and small. This go fund me has been set up to help with "future" housing, whatever that might look like for the Hopson Family. Charlie and Adeline have not yet consulted with insurance. This funding will also provide any essentials that are not met through in-person donations.
If you have any questions or want to donate in other ways, please feel free to reach out to any of the siblings: Davida, Francine, or Rebecca. All of us can be reached on FB Messenger.
Please continue to pray for our family as we navigate the loss, the sadness, and most of all the memories we have and hold dear of our family home. Quyanakpak
