Support the Sonoma Alliance Church/SOS

Hey Sonoma! Happy Holidays! This story came out today and like many of you, we were incredibly disappointed to hear a few neighbors of the Sonoma Alliance Church are missing their compassion bone and fighting hard to remove the few homeless people sleeping indoors, courtesy of this church and SOS/The Haven.  The neighbors cited such reasons for eviction as a) Walking down Broadway alone  and b) "These people are crazy." As opposed to: a) "Hey man, cars are expensive "and b) "These people aren't doing great, they are cold and need shelter."

Despite our differences and penchant for yelling on social media at each other over ... everything, no matter how small, we are actually a pretty wonderful community. During our fires, we confirmed we will always take care of each other when it matters the most. We sheltered, fed, clothed, and hugged each other with a dedication that will live with us forever. I've never been more in love with ya'll.

Let's help the neighbors become better Sonomans by doing something positive to thwart the goals of the evictors, which if achieved, will live in their guts forever. Let's give some financial love (if you can) to the Sonoma Alliance Church because they have to fight this neighbor fellow, Mr. Deringer, and boy, is he on a roll.  I think it is "Slow Your Roll, Big D" time! I propose we present 50% to the Church and 50% to SOS Save Haven. Let's aim for $10,000 total and be happy no matter what comes in. (I tried to tag SOS in this page, but I cannot find it.)

We got this. Merry Holidays!
