I am Melecia Samuels who originated from Jamaica. The community of Darliston, Westmoreland. Our community has been completely devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Homes, schools, and small businesses have been destroyed — leaving families displaced, without power, clean water, or basic necessities. What was once a vibrant, close-knit neighborhood is now struggling to survive and rebuild from the ground up.
