The Home Team String Band is a roving collective of world-traveling-adventurer-musicians who love the world's game, soccer. We connect with people from all cultures through music, soccer, and positive vibes. Having attended the last four FIFA Men’s World Cup soccer tournaments in South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and Qatar, we now plan to be ambassadors for our homeland – connecting with and giving back to both visitors and locals bound for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our mission is to spread joy, inclusivity, peace, and camaraderie to all those we meet. We believe that the combination of World Cup soccer paired with our unique brand of good times and music can bring different people and cultures together.

We are fundraising to support building out a soccer bus to tour the U.S.A., Mexico, and Canada for the 2026 World Cup. Your support will help us spread joy, inclusivity, and peace by connecting with people through music and soccer. We will use the funds to convert a school bus into the Home Team String Band World Bus 2026 Tour Bus. Your funds will also help us to build and maintain our "Where's the Bus?" tracking webpage and put on concerts, events, and watch parties during World Cup 2026. We have already purchased, primed, and demoed a used school bus to convert it into our 2026 World Cup Tour Bus. Donations will not be used for tickets, food, beverages, or personal items, but will be used to further our mission and build bridges with the international soccer community from all over the world. We are happy to also accept donations of time, service, or materials that will help convert the bus. Here are some of the items we’re looking for:
