The Home Team String Band is a roving collective of world-traveling adventurer-musicians who love the world's game – soccer! Our mission is to connect with people from all cultures through music, soccer and positive vibes.

Having attended the last four FIFA Men’s World Cup soccer tournaments in South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Qatar, we are now heading out on the highways and backroads of our homeland – connecting with and giving back to visitors and locals bound for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

We’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of those who have donated so far for the bus buildout! The Home Team Soccer Bus is finished and on the road. Please take a look at the updated photos here and on our Instagram profile @HomeTeamStringBand. And look out for the bus as it rolls up and down the West Coast (and beyond?) from June 13 – July 19!

For those just visiting this fundraiser now, we’d love your support to help offset the cost of diesel to get the bus another mile or two down the road for our World Cup 2026 tour! Your support will help us spread joy, inclusivity and peace by connecting with people through music and soccer. And any donation – even just a couple bucks – helps get us a little farther along on our mission.

Donations will not be used for tickets (we’ve already got those), food, beverages or personal items, but will be used to further our mission and build bridges with the international soccer community from all over the world.
