Support the Holloway Family & Ed to receive help he needs

This is a very humbling experience. To let the world in on a private matter that I’ve dealt with awhile now that is now public because of impulsive irrational decisions. Ed will be painted in the worst light possible, but the truth is, only I know his true self. He’s been suffering for years and I’ve tried helping him, but unfortunately we are now here. I want to bring awareness to mental health. Ed served in the Marine Corps for 8 years, going on 3 combat deployments. He saw and experienced the unthinkable. I have always been there for him when he’s suffered behind closed doors. Nobody truly knows what a veteran suffers through unless they know one personally. It’s heartbreaking. Ed is a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD and a Traumatic Brain Injury. Did you know that both of these can impair impulse control and decision making? I think there’s many in this community that would attest to Ed helping them or loved ones in his line of duty as a Police Officer. He has always been extremely diligent in investigating crimes and put many people away with facts that he discovers because he works so hard for victims. Ed is a flawed man, he is not perfect and he’s made mistakes. Who can look in the mirror and say they are perfect? I know I cannot. Then not only did he serve the Marine Corps but as a Police Officer for 13 years now. Ed has seen and heard things you’d never want to know about your own “safe” community. I say none of this to excuse bad decision making on his part, but to maybe give insight into his mental health deteriorating over the years, especially given his PTSD and TBI, both of which are diagnosed by the VA by evaluations and brain scans. Ed is the father of my two beautiful children, so innocent and suffering right now. I am coming to everyone to ask for help. Ed was the breadwinner in our family and not only do I want to see him receive the care he desperately needs, but I’m worried about making ends meet right now while I figure everything out for me and my girls. If you find it in your hearts to give, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, truly. One of Ed’s Marine Corps buddies owns a Military/First Responder rehab facility in Junction, Mighty Oaks, and that is my gameplan for him right now once he gets out. Ed has still not received bond, so if you can imagine someone with PTSD and a TBI in isolation with the light on 24 hours a day right now, that’s what he’s been experiencing since Thursday.

**Any donations made towards this fundraiser are being used solely to help Sara and her two daughters since Ed has no job now. Ed’s paycheck was the main source of income and Sara will be figuring out how to keep things going, which is where this fundraiser will help. (Pay bills, gas for vehicle, insurance, etc.)
