Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dale Hollister
On Saturday, April 19th, Dale Hollister tragically suffered a fatal accident at his home. With great sadness, we share that Dale has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While his passing has left an unimaginable void, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in Heaven.
Dale was the very definition of selflessness and compassion. Even in death, he continued to give. As an organ donor, Dale expressed his desire to help others, and his family has honored that wish—offering the gift of life to those in need. His final act of kindness perfectly reflects the life he lived: one devoted to lifting others up.
To know Dale was to know love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. His commitment to Lowell Area Schools was unmatched. Whether you saw him driving a school bus with a warm smile or sitting with children during lunch at Murray Lake Elementary, Dale’s presence made everyone feel safe, seen, and appreciated. He wasn’t just a staff member—he was a role model, a friend, and a beloved part of the school family.
Dale had a heart bigger than most. He welcomed everyone with open arms and would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His positivity was infectious, and he had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered. Dale was a constant source of joy and strength to his family, his community, and everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Though he is no longer with us in body, Dale’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, his family, friends, coworkers, students, and the entire Lowell community.
This GoFundMe has been created to help support the Hollister family during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses and the many unforeseen costs that come with saying goodbye to a loved one.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and generosity as we honor Dale’s life and carry forward the love he so freely gave to others.
