Hi all - I'm Jennifer Varriano (friend of the Hoffman family) and I'm writing this on behalf of Jim and Sherry Hoffman with the support of the family.

Jimmy and Sherry have called Pacific Palisades their home and community for over 50 years and have always been the most welcoming family to their loved ones. It is with a heavy heart that I share that their home has been directly impacted by the Palisades fire that began earlier this week.

Thankfully and most importantly, the Hoffmans and their pets were able to evacuate quickly and safely on Tuesday, January 7 with only a few suitcases to stay with their daughter Ali and husband Andy.

Unfortunately, the fire spread quickly through their neighborhood and family home, and all of their belongings have been destroyed. A few personal belongings were taken with them in the quick evacuation, and it is heartbreaking to lose those memories and moments shared in their wonderful home.

Right now, Jimmy and Sherry are incredibly thankful to be safe with their family and are now focused on rebuilding their life and reconnecting with their community.

They are very thankful for everyone's outreach, love, and support.
