We have created this GoFundMe in the hopes of supporting the Hoefflinger family in paying off some of the costs left behind from an unforeseeable accident.

On Thanksgiving Day, Gary Hoefflinger took his three dogs out to their favourite spot near Galice, just outside of Grants Pass, to let out some of their energy before returning home for a quiet evening in with his wife Tatyana. Unfortunately, Gary never made it home.

Due to unknown reasons, his truck left the road, rolled down a steep cliff and came to a stop on a large tree. The relatively untouched ground and high brush made it impossible to see from the road. After an excruciating two-and-a-half-day search, his truck was found thanks to a local good Samaritan with a personal drone that had picked up on the three dogs' heat signatures.

Sadly, Gary had already passed, but emergency services were able to recover his dogs and reunite them with Tatyana. All three dogs had miraculously survived the crash and were huddling under the cab of the truck; they would not leave their dad. The youngest of the three had a laceration on her face and had to receive stitches, while the other two seemed relatively unharmed. All three have been checked and returned home. But after such a traumatic event and going without food for 3 days, they are being monitored for any other issues.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Tatyana of 22 years, his mother-in-law, 3 daughters, Father, brother, and the many students on his school bus routes who looked up to him. This tragedy has brought the Hoefflinger family back together in grief and in support of Tatyana. But now, with this loss in the family as well as the loss of the household's primary income and the unfortunate bills that come with a loved one passing, Tatyana could use some assistance. We are setting this up to help take some of the stress off Tatyana so she can breathe, grieve, and slowly begin to heal.
