On Sunday, July 27th, the Hodges family went to church like any other Sunday. They had a Sunday like any other Sunday. But just after midnight, Dale had a massive heart attack. EMS arrived and rushed off to the hospital, but it was too late. Dale did not survive.

As most of you already know, Dale was out of work for 8 months and had only just found employment a few months ago. Their financial situation was tight, and it is now even more so without Dale's income. Life policies that were supposed to help Gina and their children in this time of need had lapsed due to the financial strains from going so long without work. Although there is a small policy from his current job that will help with the funeral arrangements, there are several other financial needs that are now drowning the Hodges family.

We, as her church family, are asking for financial and spiritual help for Gina, Ashton and Addison. They need our prayers as they struggle with their new reality without a husband and father. Gina needs funds now to pay for a burial plot and loans that were taken out last year when their emergency funds were depleted, and other expenses she may not be expecting as they come up.
