Support The Hive Mind's Journey to the World Championship

We are Going to Worlds!!! growingSTEMS Robotics team 836A The Hive Mind has been invited to the World Championships in Dallas, Texas, May 11-15th! After months of building, rebuilding, coding, driving practice, and strategizing The Hive Mind took 4th in Skills at States, which is a combined score of driving and autonomous coding (python). These children (ages 10-13) from three different St. Mary's County Public Schools have put in long hours every weekend, sometimes pulling eight-hour days to get to this point. They are the first growingSTEMS middle school team to advance this far. We are so incredibly proud of them, but their journey can not end here.

Taking the team to the States is an incredible undertaking. Between flights for the team, coaches, chaperones, hotel accommodations, shipping the robot and supplies, and team shirts, it is estimated that the team will need 20,000 in total.
