Dear Friends and Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to you today to share the devastating news of the sudden loss of our dear friends Vlad and Karina Hernandez’s 21-year-old daughter Galina Hernandez. The Hernandez family crossed paths with many in the soccer community, having supported their daughter’s time playing with OVC, Rebels East and Grossmont High School. No words can truly express the depth of sorrow and grief that our friends along with their daughter Sophia are experiencing during this incredibly difficult time.

In the wake of this tragic loss, we are coming together to provide our friends with the support and love they need to navigate through this unimaginable pain. As we mourn the loss of a bright young soul taken from us far too soon, we also want to offer our practical support in easing the financial burden that comes with unexpected circumstances like these.
