Welcome to "The Herd at Melody's Haven of Hope at Oregon Horsemanship" fundraiser! We are a sanctuary and program where every horse is loved, appreciated, and given a forever home. Founded on the belief that every horse deserves a nurturing environment, Oregon Horsemanship has grown into a comprehensive horsemanship program designed to support and sustain our cherished horses. We also teach youth life skills and give the a place where they can come and have a community.

Our mission is focused on providing a second chance to horses that have been let down by humans. These majestic animals come to us in need of love, care, and a safe haven, and we are committed to giving them the life they deserve. However, maintaining a herd of geriatric horses comes with its unique challenges and demands.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to gather necessary resources to ensure the well-being of our herd. They require extra grain, hay, medication, and supplements to keep them healthy and strong. along with the other needs from cleaning stalls, watering, cleaning troughs, and so much more. So many things are needed for their quality of life. Other operational costs needed to keep such a large herd throughout the rest of their life is extensive.
