Support the Henderson Family in Memory of Magnus

My name is Lily Ortery and I am a niece and cousin of the Henderson family.

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Magnus Henderson, a kind, thoughtful, and deeply loved 13-year-old, who passed away on Saturday, May 10th. Magnus was a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend and someone who brought light and quiet joy to the lives of everyone who knew him. Our family is devastated by his passing, and we are holding tight to the memories of the bright, beautiful soul he was.

Magnus was the kind of person who made everything just a little more joyful. He was active in his school’s theater club and took part in their most recent shows, where he found joy in performing and being part of a team. He also had a love for music, he participated in choir and band throughout his time in school. Whether it was singing, playing an instrument, or acting on stage, Magnus had a special way of expressing himself that touched others.

He had a soft spot for animals and was happiest surrounded by his beloved cats, dogs, and fish. He was also a fan of Minecraft and could get lost for hours in the worlds he created. But perhaps one of the things we’ll miss most is how much he simply loved being with people. He was always up for an outing no matter how big or small just to keep someone company or share time together.

This GoFundMe has been created to help support the Henderson family with unexpected costs during this difficult time so that they can take time to be with eachother. Many people have asked how they can help, and every donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. Your generosity will help ease some of the burdens as the family begins to grieve and heal.
