Support the Hayes Family

I’m organizing this fundraiser for my cousin, Elizabeth Hayes, and her family.

Her daughter, Eva, 10, passed out and was taken to the ER today, where it was discovered that her white blood cell count was off the chart and she was subsequently diagnosed with Leukemia. She is currently at Akron Children’s receiving emergency treatment and her condition has deteriorated already. Eva has five brain bleeds and is intubated. Doctors have begun leukophersis and the prognosis is unknown at this time.

Please continue to pray for the healing of little Eva, and strength for her family, Mom(Elizabeth), Dad(JJ), and siblings, Jeremiah and Livi, who are all by her side in the hospital as they navigate her AML Leukemia diagnosis today and current treatment. We are praying for a miracle!!

JJ and Liz are both hardworking and wonderful people who have overcome many obstacles and broken generational cycles to build the beautiful family and life they have together. JJ is a firefighter and nurse, and Liz is a teacher. They have three beautiful children, Jeremiah, Livi Grace, and Eva Maria. Eva is the happiest, sweetest little soul, always giggling and full of life.

They would never ask for help, but the truth is they need to be able to be by their little girl’s side without worrying about missing work or how they will pay the bills and the upcoming medical bills. This will not heal their child, but it will allow them to be there with her as they go through it and give them one less thing to worry about.
