Hello, my name is Briana, and I’m the daughter of Bo & Cindy Hawthorne, who own HawtPlate.

My parents would never ask for help themselves, but out of love for them and because so many have asked, I wanted to create this fundraiser as a way for people to give if they feel led.

My dad has been the heart and soul of the restaurant for these fast few years. Over the past couple weeks, he has been in the hospital fighting pancreatitis and facing many complications. We are praying and believing for a better result as he continues to recover.

Because of his hospitalization, the restaurant has been closed, which has caused a significant financial strain. Many friends, customers, and community members have reached out asking how they can help. This is simply a way to provide that opportunity for them.

There is absolutely no pressure to give, this is only here for those who have been asking. Any support received will go toward covering the restaurant’s ongoing expenses and helping my parents stay afloat during this difficult season.
