Support the Hausers

In October 2017, Greta was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She was admitted to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for inpatient chemotherapy. She has responded well to treatments and is now receiving weekly outpatient chemotherapy. At this point, she is still unable to return to school and remains at home. The funds raised will help offset the financial costs the Hauser's (Jacob - Seven Hills middle school drama teacher, Amy- CCD upper school art teacher, Kurt - Lotspeich 2nd grader, Greta - Lotspeich Kindergartener) have experienced since her diagnosis.

To honor Greta and her fighting spirit, many teachers in the ECC have decided to run in the Flying Pig marathon on May 6th. The event has many different distances including a full marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5k and the kid’s fun run. We would love to have as many people as possible out there running for Greta. How cool would it be to have all of her kindergarten friends on the starting line running to honor her?!
