On Sunday, November 30th, the Harwood family experienced the heartbreaking loss of Kathy Harwood — a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. After a courageous battle with cancer, Kathy passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, surrounded by her family. Her strength, grace, and unwavering love throughout her journey touched everyone who knew her.

Kathy was the heart of her family — the one who showed up for every milestone, who loved with her whole heart, and who always put others before herself. Her kindness, her laugh, and her comforting presence will forever be missed.

I am setting up this GoFundMe as a friend of the family to help support them during this incredibly difficult time. Kathy did not have life insurance, and the costs of funeral and burial services have become overwhelming. The family is doing everything they can, but they need help to lay Kathy to rest in the cemetery according to her final wishes, giving her the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserves.
