Hello--

My name is Sanci, wife to Spencer Harshman, and mother of two boys, Fletcher (4) and Rifle (18 months). I am currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant for a rare diagnosis, bone marrow failure. Bone marrow transplant is my only chance for a cure. This is a childhood diagnosis, that we have monitored throughout my life and now are going to try to fix it.

Though, I am very thankful, grateful and agree with my medical team that now is a good time to take this chance, we can't help but think about the burden of bills piling up while both my husband, Spencer and I are off of work for the next 4+ months. Even with great insurance and short term disability, so much is not covered--oral meds, parking, lodging for 100+ days, daycare, and the biggest hit being lost income. We are literally are paying for two households on 1/3 of our normal income. Our savings will be drained quickly when just the rent alone for our house in Rochester is $3450/month...and we were told to plan on being here for at least 4 months.
