Help lay a loving father and fisherman to rest
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Mike Harman who bravely fought brain cancer until the end,— he was a lifelong commercial fisherman, father of three and someone who despite a complicated journey, was deeply loved.
He was the kind of man who could light up a room with his humor and had a personality that was as big as the ocean he worked on. Life for him didn’t look like the rest. Despite challenges he always remained uniquely himself. He loved his family in his own way and gave what he could even when it wasn’t always easy. He was rough around the edges— yes, but also real, resilient, and full of heart. He found peace and purpose on the water. What he and his loving children want most is simple: to be laid to rest with dignity.
We’re raising funds to help honor his final wish and ease the financial burden on his beautiful children as they navigate both their grief and the cost of burial services during the most difficult time of their lives. Any amount helps and all support, financial, emotional or through sharing. This is appreciated more than we can say, thank you for standing with the family during this difficult time.
The memorial service will take place at the Cranberry Museum in Long Beach, WA, June 1st ant 2:00 PM.
The family thanks you for your love, prayers, and support.
