At 1am on April 1st, the Hansen family—Michael, Samantha (Sam), Landon, and Mack—were suddenly awakened by a fire that forced them out of their home. Thankfully, everyone, including their two dogs, made it out safely. However, their home is now unlivable, and they were unable to grab much as they escaped. In the aftermath, Sam and Michael are working to board up the house and are in contact with insurance, but the path forward is still uncertain. Right now, the Hansens are focused on immediate needs: finding a safe place to stay, replacing essentials, and making sure their children and pets are cared for. They are grateful to have local family, but there are still many unknowns as they figure out what comes next.
