Support the Hallisey Family

A mentor and sculptor to many young minds as the Dean of Veritas High School in Flushing, Queens, John Lane Hallisey, leaves behind his wife, Gail of 20 years, and two sons, Aydin, 19 years old, and Derin, 16 years old. He was an avid Islanders fan who shared his passion and love of the sport with his two sons who play hockey. Aydin plays the position of forward for Stony Brook, and Derin plays goalie for the Long Island Rebels and St. Francis Prep. John was admired and loved by everyone in the hockey world and much respected in his line of work as an educator. The world was a better place with John in our lives. We will all miss John Hallisey immensely.
