It's early, you're tired.

You drag your feet as you slowly get out of your car and shuffle across the asphalt. You open the door and you're greeted by the warm aroma of fresh bread and ground coffee. The barista welcomes you with a smile. After five minutes, you have a fresh croissant and warm coffee in your hand, and the world for a moment is peaceful.

This could be you. Coming this summer ('26), The Haggard Hare will be joining the big leagues and moving into their first brick-and-mortar location. located on US-1 right on the Bunnell/Palm Coast city line. What you will get is the same love and care put into every single baked good and fresh pizza, the same family environment, and the same warmth, welcome, and connection that we've been bringing you at all our pop-ups, weekly orders, and holiday specials. But you will be able to get it daily!

We have not been able to get to this point without your love and support, and we are deeply grateful. It has been so fun meeting so many people through bringing you baked goods and pizza. We are ready to take the next step and expand to offer you all more space, more time, and finally COFFEE!! We are so excited, but we need your help.

Our goal with our space is to not only create and serve an awesome product, but also create a space where you can come, gather, work, breathe, connect, and for a moment just be. As young parents, we have seen the need for a space where family is not only welcomed but also INVITED. We want you to have space to bring your most important little people, and also have a space to enjoy yourself. We will have a large kids' area, a cozy library corner for the bookworms and introverts, and workspace for those who would like to keep grinding while enjoying good food and drinks. Think cozy, homey, and addictive croissants and carbs.

The Haggard Hare was born out of a love for coffee and carbs. One dreamed of starting a cafe, and one dreamed of being a baker. They met, fell in love, married, became parents, and simultaneously just a little more haggard. With a last name like Haire, we knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity to make our life a pretty good pun. After years of creating, planning, learning, and slowly building, we are so excited to bring this dream into reality.

What we are asking from you is first of all your continued support. Once we open, we will need people to try, enjoy, and pass on the good word! But to get us to that point, we need a little extra boost. In order to bring you the tasty treats made in-house, we need an oven, as well as other things to fill out the kitchen and coffee bar, and some of the initial upstart costs. We have lots of family and friends all over the world who have shared their desire and wish to support our family as we step into this next chapter, and we've had a few local friends mention to us to run a fundraiser, so here we are. We are so excited to bring this space to life and we cannot do it without you! Your donation goes straight to the HH bank account and into the cafe for your ultimate enjoyment!
