Hello, my name is Tarak Bhatt. I reside in Lake Parsippany. On July 9th, I learned about the tragic accident involving Avyaan Gupta. It is hard to fathom a family losing their 8-year-old son. Avyaan was smart, funny and above all, dearly loved by his family.

Avyaan’s father, Aakash, moved to Parsippany about a 5 years ago with aspirations to build a new life for his family. Sadly, those dreams will never come to fruition. The family has limited financial means. They have no relatives who live nearby.

While there is nothing anyone can do to bring their son back, the community can come together to help up with some near-term challenges. There is a need for funds to cover the family loss. I would urge everyone who reads this to consider donating what you can to help this distraught family. Even a few dollars will go a long way to bring peace to the Gupta family.
