Hello friends and family, I'm Kay.
On the night of March 14th, my sister Amy and her family were involved in a horrific accident when a car hit their golf cart. Which turned into our worst nightmare.
Amy was pinned between the roof and the seats after the golf cart rolled. She was not breathing, and CPR had to be performed multiple times to bring back a pulse before she was airlifted to the hospital. She is now receiving intensive care for very serious injuries, including fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, a neck herniation, and other traumatic injuries.
My brother-in-law was also badly injured and is suffering from a severe concussion, which will impact his ability to work in the days and weeks ahead.
4 of their children were also on the cart. The children were taken to the children’s ER. While 3 have been released home, Their 12-year-old has a skull fracture and, understandably, is feeling very unwell. We are so grateful she is being closely cared for, and we are praying for healing for each member of this precious family.
This family is deeply loved by their community, and right now they need that love more than ever.
As they begin what will be a long and overwhelming healing journey, we are asking for help to ease the financial burden ahead. Between emergency care, hospital stays, ongoing treatment, missed work, and the many unexpected expenses and bills that follow a traumatic accident, the need will be significant.
If you are able to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And if you are not in a position to donate, your prayers, love, and sharing this page would mean so much.
We are trusting God for strength, healing, and provision every step of the way.
Thank you for surrounding this family with support during the hardest season of their lives.
