Eclectic Flights is a live travel discovery platform I’ve been building and running, designed to help people find interesting destinations and real flight deals—not just the usual routes.
You can explore the platform here: https://fly.eclectic.flights
It’s not a concept or a prototype. It’s running under real traffic, with real users, and all the usual challenges that come with that—performance, caching, external data, ongoing development, and keeping things responsive as usage grows.
Running a platform like this comes with ongoing costs, both in infrastructure and time.
There is some light use of Google Ads across the site, but it doesn’t meaningfully support the platform. To keep the experience clean and avoid relying on heavier advertising, Eclectic Flights is supported through a simple sponsorship model.
You can sponsor a destination on the platform for a fixed 6-month period, with your name (or company) shown as a supporter on that page, including an optional link, a small logo for businesses, and a personalized destination link.
Support can be applied across different tiers of destinations, from randomly assigned locations through to higher-traffic routes, with higher contributions opening up more options.
This keeps the site usable, avoids intrusive ads, and ties support directly to the platform itself.
