Support the GB Cable Wakeboard Team in 2025

We are the GB Cable Wakeboard Team and we are looking to raise money for our athletes to compete internationally for Great Britain.

£175 would cover one athlete’s entry to the European championships

£250 pays for a two hour private team training session for 15 athletes

£2,500 enables Team GB as a whole to enter the European Championships

£4,000 pays for Team GB as a whole to enter the European Championships and a full season of private training in preparation for these competitions

£10,000 enables Team GB as a whole to enter the European and World Championships also covers the cost of Team GB to train throughout the UK in preparation for these competitions and subsidises travel & accommodation for certain riders who otherwise might not be able to attend

Here's some facts about our team!

• We have a diverse and committed team of men and women ranging from Under 14s to Veterans (over 40s) plus Seated riders

• The teams from many other countries receive funding from their country to train and compete. However, for Team GB our funding is very limited and we rely heavily on fundraising activities and the riders’ families in order for our athletes to be able to represent their country

• At the 2024 World Championships four of our riders secured medals (one Gold, one Silver and two Bronze). At the 2024 European Championships we achieved two Golds

• We are looking for team funding to invest in the coaching and training of all of our riders and to support those riders whose circumstances wouldn’t allow them to travel and represent their country otherwise.

• We encourage you to donate into the general fundraising pot. However, if you would like to make a donation for a specific rider, please contact us (see below).
