Aston is a preemie that was Born at 25 weeks gestation and endured a myriad of medical problems associated with preterm birth. He persevered and went home with his family. At seven months of age Aston was readmitted to the PICU with RSV. His lungs still growing and healing could not battle the virus without assistance from a ventilator. His condition has warranted his transfer from Amarillo to a Lubbock PICU for ECMO(heart & lung support).
