Support the Goldens: Gray's Brain Surgery & Epilepsy Fight

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to support our close friends, Erika and Gabriel Golden, and their 2-year-old son, Gray, who is going through something no toddler — or family — should have to endure.

Over the last few weeks, Gray has spent most of his time in the hospital with severe, drug-resistant epilepsy. Despite the best efforts of his care team at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, his seizures have remained dangerously out of control. After weeks of grueling tests and monitoring, the family is now preparing for two major brain surgeries later this month. These surgeries are urgent and essential to giving Gray a chance at a safer, healthier future, but they also come with immense emotional and financial burdens.

Erika and Gabriel are doing everything they can to care for Gray while also supporting his two older siblings, Phoenix and Bear, at home. As you can imagine, the costs associated with hospital stays, medical bills, travel, time away from work, and the extensive rehab and therapies Gray will need after surgery are overwhelming.

This fundraiser is one small way we can rally around them and help lift even a bit of the burden and allow the Goldens to focus on what matters most: being by Gray’s side and helping him heal.
