Support The Gleason Family and Bianka's Battle

Hi! We are Patrick and Danielle Sparks and we are fundraising to help support our dear friends and their beautiful daughter.

Sean and Danielle Gleason are parents to Layla (13) and Bianka (14). Bianka has been diagnosed with a rare cancer that formed in her Pituitary Gland and it is terrifying. She is in extensive treatment, including different types of Chemotherapy, infusions, and medications. On top of hospital treatment, "B" has to have at home injections and takes up to 40 pills per day...

Danielle recently resigned from her job, as "B" has been in and out of the hospital many times over the past nine months, and as the fierce Mama Bear that she is, has refused to leave her daughters side. Sean works over an hour from home and is the sole financial provider for their family as they help "B" fight her battle. These two are the definition of engaged parents, they are always with their kids. This family together is the epitome of teamwork, they have bounded together and are staying strong, but they need our help.

The last thing any GREAT family should have to face during these hard times is worrying about whether the lights will stay on, or what they have in the fridge. Weekly visits to St Louis Children's Hospital, from Sorento, IL is exhaustive on multiple levels; add in one less income, co-pays, medications, and the insane cost of fuel, this is a burden no family should have to face alone.

"B" has an AMAZING little sister too, Layla or "Bug", is the most charismatic, strong, and articulate 13 year old we know. She is being so strong for her parents and her big sis. She deserves to see what true friendship and community means!!
