The friends and family of Pete and Lindsay Ginnetty have come together to support their family during their unexpected time of need, both immediate and in the long term.

On Sunday night, September 13th, Pete was struck in a crosswalk by a truck at a high rate of speed, resulting in significant multi-trauma injuries. While we are profoundly grateful that Pete survived, he is currently hospitalized in Boston, where he faces multiple surgeries and extensive long-term medical treatment recovery and care. The road ahead for the Ginnetty family will bring many new obstacles, challenges and hardships in the face of their unknown future.

Pete and Lindsay have always been the first to show up for others both in their careers and personal life. Pete is a United States Army veteran, dedicated husband to Lindsay, loving dad to their two sons, and friend to many. Pete has given back to the community as a coach for youth lacrosse and hockey for many years. Lindsay has dedicated herself to supporting the children and families of the Cape throughout her many years of work as a social worker. They have stepped in for countless others during their times of need, and now it is our turn as a community to surround them with that same support and love.

We created this GoFundMe so Pete and Lindsay can focus purely on his recovery without the added stress of financial worry. Your support will help cover:

  • Travel expenses to and from Boston hospitals
  • Daily expenses necessary to keep life moving and stable for Lindsay and the boys
  • Modifications to their house so Pete can return home

If you are able to donate, any amount will make a meaningful difference. If you're unable to give at this time, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the Ginnetty family in your thoughts and prayers.
