Support the Gillis Family's Recovery from Helene

Please help support the Gillis Family after devastation from Hurricane Helene

As we all know now, Hurricane Helene has left behind so much destruction. Our parents home in Englewood, Florida has been been destroyed. Unfortunately, the storm surges brought in so much water that their home could not withstand. Although a few things have been spared, the storm has ruined so much. Furniture, pictures, car, clothing, etc. The house is sadly unlivable and they need to start over.

If you are lucky enough to know our parents, you know that they would help anyone. We are all so extremely relieved that they were able to evacuate and that they have the support of great friends, but it is hard not to feel so helpless from so far away. We ask for any support you can give as it will go so far in helping the begin to get their home back.

This fundraiser is not for me, it is for my parents. I, Katherine Jacques, have started this fundraiser to benefit my mother Ann Gillis and my father Charles Gillis. They are the beneficiaries of all these donations and the funds will be used to help them rebuild their home in Englewood, Florida. Although I am currently living in Massachusetts, my parents are still living in Englewood, Florida. These donations will be used specifically to buy new appliances, like a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, etc. All of their appliances were destroyed in the hurricanes.
