Support the Gill Family's Medical Journey

I'm Christine Sadler, a close friend of Ryan and Morgan Gill. In 2020 I started one of these fundraisers for them when Lydia was initially hospitalized with unknown neurological complications. She has since been diagnosed with epilepsy, and receives care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Over the last two months, Lydia has been having uncontrolled seizures which has required multiple hospitalizations. This involves time off work, travel, hotels, medications and care. Ongoing appointments and medical team planning is unpredictable, but it is clear the regularity and frequency of trips to Cincinnati will be ongoing if not increasing.

As a result of her last hospitalization, Lydia has been schooling from home and requiring continuous support.

Friends of the Gills know the level of advocacy and knowledge and learning they do for their children is unmatched. Joshua has been schooling from home half days to best accommodate struggles with multiple disabilities. His medical care is also now managed at Cincinnati Children's. Close care for Grace with cyclical vomiting syndrome is also done in Cincinnati.

Morgan and Ryan are incredibly strong, but support from friends and family is what allows them to continue giving their kids the best possible access to medical care that exists. They are considering all their options, including moving to be nearer to the hospital, altering working schedules which has large financial implications, and maintaining their health as well.

Many people are asking how to help, and instead of adding to their mental load, I decided to create a space to easily support in a small way. We are grateful for any level of help you're able to give!
