Support the Gerrits Family

Those of you who have come in contact with Jennifer know what a beautiful woman she is both inside and out.  You also know that she would do anything for her family and friends. Jennifer is the hardest working, kindest, most genuine and loving mother and wife. Her husband is Kaukauna firefighter, Assistant Chief Chad. Her son is a freshman at Kaukauna High School and her daughter a 7th grader at Riverview Middle School. They are her pride and joy.

At the beginning of June 2019, Jennifer Gerrits went to the doctor because she was not feeling well.  This lead to a barrage of tests with the diagnosis of Stage 4 Breast Cancer that had spread to her lungs.  As of August 21st, Jennifer is in her seventh of sixteen weeks of experimental chemotherapy which isn't completely covered by insurance. This will be followed by multiple surgeries to remove her tumors. 

This GoFundMe page is set up to be a communication platform to ensure we keep all of Jennifer's wonderful friends and family up to date on her status and progress.  As you can imagine, the Gerrits family will incur significant medical expenses during this process, so any donations towards Jennifer's recovery are so greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, prayers are just as important!  Jennifer is determined to remain in good spirits.

The Gerrits family thanks the many friends and family who have reached out to support them through this difficult time. The outpouring of love and encouragement has been overwhelmingly touching and instrumental in aiding Jennifer's battle to get as healthy as possible!
