Support the Gentry Family's Fight Against Cancer

Welcome, and any help is much appreciated.

We are the Gentry family, and we have been struggling with medical and living expenses since December 2022, when my father lost his job. My dad then developed liver and colon cancer and almost lost his life; he spent nearly five months in the hospital fighting infections and cancer. He is now home and continuing to battle the cancer with chemo.

My brother and I are in college for engineering and nursing, respectively, and it is hard for us to balance work for basic living expenses with our intense schooling and caring for our father. Our mother works as much as she can between 2 part-time jobs, but she also has to cook and care for our father. Social Security has taken five months so far to review our application. But they are only about 40% done reviewing it. We are nearly bankrupt, and it is getting to the point where my father is trying to apply for work to get some more money to pay the bills.
