This GoFundMe was organized by Danfe Sports Club (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) to support urgent relief efforts in Nepal. Donations came from our Nepali community in Calgary and across Canada.

Relation to recipient(s):

We are partnering with Ashika Tamang and the Ashika Foundation in Nepal, a trusted and credible organization already active on the ground.

Withdrawal & Transfer Plan:

• The total collected is $2,221 CAD. After GoFundMe transaction fees, this will amount to approximately NPR 2,00,000 (plus or minus 10,000 rupees).

• Funds will be withdrawn into the personal bank account of Amrit Aryal, President of Danfe Sports Club, who will oversee all transfers and ensure full accountability.

• From there, the full amount will be sent directly to the official bank account of Ashika Foundation in Nepal.

Use of Funds:

Ashika Foundation will use these funds for:

• Emergency supplies (food, clothing, medicine, basic necessities)

• Direct family support in affected areas

• Community relief initiatives verified and documented by the foundation

Timeline:

• Withdrawal from GoFundMe: immediately once approved

• Transfer to Nepal: within 7 business days of withdrawal

• Distribution by Ashika Foundation: immediately after receipt, with public updates shared within 2 weeks

Transparency & Accountability:

All transactions will be made public. Proof of transfer, receipts from Ashika Foundation, and distribution updates will be posted here so every donor knows the funds reached the right source.
