We are GEA, providing an opportunity to help female entrepreneurs actualize their dreams!
We are all going through unprecedented and devastating times, bringing along with it, devastating economic challenges. Our team could not stand by and watch, so we had to do something to help!
We are introducing the GEA Challenge, a contest that will help raise awareness of the inequalities between female and male entrepreneurs, and will help each and every participant by providing resources, education, and support for their business needs.
Female entrepreneurs have faced significant inequalities throughout their careers, and with the pandemic these inequalities have been amplified. GEA is here to support, sustain and empower female entrepreneurs and business owners by providing an opportunity at any stage of their business evolution to present a compelling business idea, dream, expansion plan, or concept that they believe in and help them bring that idea to fruition.
To give some eye opening perspective as to why we are focused on female entrepreneurs:
-During the pandemic 27% of women-run businesses were closed compared to only 20% of businesses run by men.
-Many female business owners are pulling a "double-double shift," where they are struggling to keep both their families and their small businesses afloat.
-Only 3% of business Investments go to women, and that’s a problem for everyone.
The percentage of women-owned businesses that have laid off 80% or more of their employees is substantially greater than that of businesses overall (62.1% vs. 45.2%).
We aim to create a centralized place for guidance and advisory services for female entrepreneurs, which is currently lacking in today’s market.
We want to bring more inclusivity and opportunity for female entrepreneurs worldwide to participate in our challenge, and we are here to support and encourage success in these difficult times by offering the follow prizes for the winner and runner up of the GEA Challenge:

All attendees and participants will receive access to a free webinar to further entrepreneur leadership training from renowned GEA experts.
The funds raised with Go Fund Me will go towards assisting the winning female entrepreneur and runner up with their business endeavors to jump start and support their business, and the launch of the contest itself.

Why are we doing this? We want to make a difference in our communities and empower female entrepreneurs and business owners after seeing the inequalities they have endured.
We are determined to put our collective efforts together to support and empower female entrepreneurs. We want to share our knowledge and expertise with female entrepreneurs who can truly benefit from our real life entrepreneurial experience. We’ve learned a great deal from our failures as well as our considerable success, and are eager to offer our real world guidance to help female entrepreneurs grow and excel.
The GEA team is led by eight business leaders each with an average of 25 years of experience. We have spent our careers working in nearly every industry including technology, healthcare, finance, education, real estate, fashion, retail and entertainment. We have acquired a vast amount of knowledge and experience in starting companies, fixing companies, raising capital, launching new products, building and leading high performance sales and marketing teams, solving problems, overcoming significant challenges, building large scale distribution networks, opening new markets, selling and acquiring companies, and negotiating complex agreements.
Our team has the expertise needed to successfully manage each function of an organization including sales, operations, finance, engineering, software development, human resources, and many more. Collectively we have directly managed businesses with aggregate revenues in excess of $3 billion. We have managed thousands of individuals, and have raised both small amounts of capital and large amounts of capital totaling over $10 billion. The GEA team is ready, willing, and well-prepared to help female entrepreneurs create, finance, develop and grow their business!
