We’re reaching out for support after an unexpected and devastating flooding incident in our home.

Due to a clog in the upstairs bathroom, water overflowed for an extended period before it was discovered. By the time we realized what was happening, the water was already pouring through the ceiling into our kitchen below, damaging not only the bathroom and kitchen but also our adjacent master bathroom and closet. The water caused extensive damage to drywall, flooring, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, and personal belongings, including Kelsey’s beloved wedding dress.

Our home is currently in disarray. We’re navigating cleanup, repairs, and loss of use of our home—all while continuing to keep life as normal as possible for our sweet girl, fur babies, and Kelsey’s elderly father, who lives with us.

We are doing everything we can to manage this, but the cost of repairs and replacement has quickly become more than we can bear alone. We’ve filed an insurance claim, but as many of you know, these processes can be slow and may not cover everything.
