HELP THE GARCIA ACEVEDO FAMILY REBUILD AFTER A DEVASTATING HOUSE FIRE

In just a few minutes, the Garcia Acevedo family lost their home, belongings, and countless cherished memories to a devastating fire.

On June 7 at approximately 5:00 p.m., a fire destroyed our family's mobile home in Ceres, California. What had been a place of comfort, security, and love was reduced to ashes, leaving Maria Acevedo, Eugenio Garcia, and their children facing an unimaginable loss.

At the time of the fire, one of my brothers was home alone. Thanks to the quick actions and bravery of neighbors who helped him escape before the flames spread further, he made it out safely. After the fire, he was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Thankfully, he did not suffer any major injuries and is recovering well.

While we are incredibly grateful that no lives were lost, the fire destroyed nearly everything our family owned. They lost clothing, furniture, household essentials, important documents, personal belongings, and irreplaceable family memories collected over many years.

The fire also damaged two family vehicles. One vehicle was completely destroyed and was not covered for fire-related loss. To make matters even more difficult, the family did not have homeowners or renters insurance to help recover from the loss of their home and belongings.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

As the oldest son, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family as they face the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Donations will help cover both immediate and long-term needs, including:

• Food and daily necessities

• Clothing and personal items

• Transportation expenses

• Household essentials

• Cleanup and debris removal costs

• Rebuilding and recovery expenses

AYUDA A LA FAMILIA GARCIA ACEVEDO A RECONSTRUIR SUS VIDAS DESPUÉS DE UN DEVASTADOR INCENDIO

En cuestión de minutos, la familia Garcia Acevedo perdió su hogar, sus pertenencias y una vida entera de recuerdos debido a un devastador incendio.

El 7 de junio, aproximadamente a las 5:00 p.m., un incendio destruyó la casa móvil de nuestra familia en Ceres, California. Lo que durante años fue un lugar de amor, seguridad y tranquilidad quedó reducido a cenizas, dejando a Maria Acevedo, Eugenio Garcia y a sus hijos enfrentando una pérdida inimaginable.

Al momento del incendio, uno de mis hermanos se encontraba solo en la vivienda. Gracias a la rápida intervención y valentía de los vecinos, quienes lo ayudaron a salir antes de que las llamas se propagaran aún más, pudo escapar sano y salvo. Después del incendio fue trasladado al hospital para ser evaluado. Afortunadamente, no sufrió lesiones graves y se encuentra recuperándose.

Aunque estamos profundamente agradecidos de que no se perdieran vidas, el incendio destruyó prácticamente todo lo que nuestra familia tenía. Se perdieron ropa, muebles, artículos esenciales del hogar, documentos importantes, pertenencias personales y recuerdos irremplazables acumulados a lo largo de muchos años.

El incendio también causó daños a dos vehículos de la familia. Uno de ellos fue destruido por completo y no contaba con cobertura para pérdidas relacionadas con incendios. Para agravar aún más la situación, la familia no tenía seguro de vivienda ni seguro para inquilinos que pudiera ayudar a cubrir estas pérdidas.

La causa del incendio continúa bajo investigación.

Como hijo mayor, he creado esta recaudación de fondos en nombre de mi familia mientras enfrentan el enorme desafío de reconstruir sus vidas desde cero. Las donaciones ayudarán a cubrir necesidades inmediatas y a largo plazo, incluyendo:
