Support the Gagnon-Nauss Family

Hey everyone,

We're reaching out on behalf of our dear friends, Adrianne and Dan, who are going through an incredibly challenging time right now. We are a group of moms who met Adrienne when we were all pregnant together in 2019. Since then, our group has grown incredibly close. Through a pandemic, motherhood trials, second, third and now fourth babies we have supported each other. We are now reaching out and looking for as much support as we can gather for our dear friend and her beautiful family.

The newest addition to their family , 4-week-old Harriet, was recently diagnosed with WPW Syndrome, a heart condition that has understandably shaken their world. WPW, or Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, is a rare disorder where there's an extra electrical pathway in the heart that can cause a rapid heartbeat. She will need to be on daily medication, but it’s very manageable and she should live a long, healthy, normal life. Right now, Harriett is in great hands at the IWK. They are just trying to keep her heart rate stable and then will work on the path to finding the medication dosages that will work best for her. As you can imagine, it's a lot for any parent to take in, especially with such a tiny and delicate new member of the family.

Adrianne and Dan are already amazing parents to (almost) 4 year old Walter, and their 1 year old twins, Winnie and Arthur. The demands of caring for a large, young family are immense on their own, and adding Harriet's medical needs to the mix has placed a heavy burden on their shoulders.

We're asking our community, friends, and anyone with a caring heart to help support this incredible family through this holiday season. Dan had plans to return to work this week but with Harriet’s new diagnoses and the needs of their family, they could really benefit from any added financial assistance you can provide.
