Dear family, friends and kind strangers,

Our hearts are broken. Our beloved nanny Emily (34), passed away due to sudden medical complications during her cancer treatment in Nairobi. Emily, us (Nico, Cees and me) and her 3 kids - 14, 12 and 5 - share a lot of beautiful memories together .

With Emily gone, her family has lost their loving mother and their only source of income. We are starting this fund to ensure they can stay in school. Every donation goes directly to their education.
