Support Canadian Ski Jumping Athletes! (141149658 RR 0001)
Donation protected
Hello! We are a team of dedicated students from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) raising funds for Ski Jumping Canada to ensure the future of the ski winter sport and support Canadian athletes in their training journeys.
Ski Jumping Canada’s legacy has been impacted by the recent closure of the Winsport facility due to high maintenance costs. This leaves our ski athletes without a training site in Canada. Hence, funding is critical to support current athletes and build a new training facility here in Canada, creating opportunities for aspiring athletes to enter and grow within the sport.
With no home base, current athletes have faced the challenge of training abroad yet have persevered through tremendous effort and support. Their hard work paid off when they made Canadian history, bringing home a bronze medal from the 2022 Winter Olympics and reaching podiums in world cups and other global events! Their accomplishments are a testament to the strength and potential of Canadian ski jumpers—however, future generations risk losing this path without sustainable support.
Your donations will directly contribute to athlete training, travel costs, and the development of a training facility, helping to secure the sport's future in Canada. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and keep Canada’s ski-jumping legacy thriving!
Our team sincerely appreciates your support!
