It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our father, Samuel Maxwell, on May 24th. Words fall short of expressing our shock, grief, and loss.

In the midst of it all, your outpouring of support, kind words, and stories (which, with Sam, there seems to be an endless supply of), has brought us a much-needed sense of comfort.

As Sara and I find ourselves trying to deal with the evergrowing to-do list, forms, and phone calls that have come with the passing of Sam, we have discovered fairly quickly the unexpected financial burden associated with giving Sam the final farewell he deserves. With this in mind, we humbly ask for your support. Any contribution towards Sam's funeral expenses would help us immensely.
