Dear friends and family,

On July 6th, Darius was taken to the hospital after experiencing severe flu-like symptoms. In the early morning hours of July 7th, Darius was care-flighted to Reno from Fallon. Once he arrived, doctors ran tests and determined that he had swelling in his brain, leaving him with no brain activity. After meeting with doctors, it was determined that a strain of influenza caused a fatal reaction. 

Darius' family is by his side and in the midst of devastation have made the decision to donate his organs and help save other lives.

Anyone who has met Darius or his family knows the quiet calm and kindness he displays, while also surprising us with his humor and talent on and off the baseball field. He LOVED to play baseball and was good at it. He will forever be a Fallon Hornet, #26 ⚾️
