As we come to terms and try to process the lasting effects from this health crisis, resulting in the prolonged closure of the Fremont Theater, we must meet the challenges ahead together as a community. The health, safety and well-being of our staff, guests and community continues to be our top priority. These closures have been necessary steps in the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Events were the first to go, and they will be the last to return. As a result, greatly impacts the hourly employees at the Fremont Theater.
People are our priority. The box office staff, concessionaires, security, sound engineers, and day-to-day staff rely on our regular programming for work. Today, we are asking the community of SLO to help our incredible, dedicated staff members make ends meet during this time of crisis in which we are unable to operate. 100% of all proceeds will directly benefit our staff.
We miss you SLO -- We look forward to the day we can open our doors again, turn on the marquee lights, and welcome you all back in for more amazing nights. The entire Fremont Theater staff thanks you for your amazing support, especially during a time when so much is needed.
